The local take
This is a meaningful local stop before new beginnings and an easy addition to a central Jaipur day. Visit respectfully and allow extra time on busy worship days.
The Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple sits at the foot of Moti Dungri hill, below a hilltop palace-like structure. Local tradition holds that the Ganesh idol here is centuries old and was installed at this site in the 18th century, and the temple has since become one of Jaipur's most visited Ganesh shrines, especially for blessings before new beginnings such as weddings.
