Shri Jagat Shiromani Ji Temple in Amer, also known locally as Meera Mandir, was built in the early 17th century (around 1599-1608) by Kanwar Prithviraj's mother in his memory. Dedicated to Vishnu, the temple is celebrated for its Rajput-era stone carving, including an intricately carved single-stone toran (arched gateway), and its association with the devotional poet-saint Meera Bai.
